Photographer Jean N. Cornell

Jean N. Cornell is a West Texas-based photographer who captures our world with a fresh perspective. As she says, "my passion is to find the transcendent beauty of West Texas through my lens and bring you with me."
Jean has carried her camera as a semi-permanent appendage for most of her life, enabling her to master her craft naturally. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Tech University, which gave her an excellent design background.
Her art reflects her experience participating in ranch cattle works, such as the historic Kokernot o6 Ranch and the Shannon Ranch... dusty roads, chuckwagon meals, wide-open quiet, and this vanishing breed called cowboys. Life on these ranches is a bit slower. But it helps you remember what's important. These quintessential creatures of far West Texas will teach you how to live this life we call good.
